Types Of Dentures Offered At Anderson Dentistry
Full, Traditional Dentures
These set of teeth are removable and replace an entire arch of teeth. The upper part has a false palate to provide structural support and to help keep it in place.
Partial Dentures
These are usually made out of an inflexible acrylic material and are secured in place with biocompatible metal clasps that grip around the adjacent teeth.
Metal-Free Partial Dentures
Dr. Anderson offers Valplast® metal-free partials, which are made from a flexible, strong and lightweight nylon. They look more natural than acrylic partials. They come with a one-year guarantee against fracture or breakage.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Dr. Scott Anderson can provide you with a referral to a specialized professional to provide you with a new set of quality dentures that are designed to be supported by dental implants. They will be held firmly in place, will not move around in your mouth and will provide much greater chewing power compared to traditional ones. These can be fixed onto dental implants and are only removable by a dentist, or they can be fitted so they snap onto implants while still being removable by you.
This is an excellent solution to replace an entire arch of missing teeth. They are the best way to regain your ability to eat, speak and smile with confidence.
